Read about me, my platform, get in touch!

My name is Susan Wolfson. I have been a Glendale homeowner and active member of my neighborhood homeowners' association for over 12 years, and active in several civic organizations including The Glendale Historical Society, Soroptimist International of Glendale and the Women's Civic League of Glendale. I have 28 years of experience as a CPA and work in Finance for another City. Additionally I have been a Glendale Parks, Recreation & Community Services commissioner since 2017. I am running for City Council to improve our quality of life. I want to ensure our City's financial sustainability and its environmental sustainability. I will not impose my values on others but will listen carefully to all Glendale residents and stakeholders. I will guard our City's finances, spend taxpayer money wisely, and work hard to get clear and transparent information that can be understood by all. I will pursue any and all means to protect our City's right to regulate development and to decide how to and where to increase housing in our City. I will pursue alliances so that Glendale can play a leading role in solving our most vexing environmental problems. But above all else, I will always act as  an advocate for all Glendale residents. When I am on the City Council, there will be six council members; the sixth will be you. Plus: a wolf will guard our City's future!
